The only thing that will make you more disliked is starting new threads of similar topics.

Face it:

Old threads have a built in audience of people that are interested in that subject.

When bumped, can be seen by new people that may have passed them over.

Awakening old threads helps cut down on the number of threads in the forums and therefore keep everything clean.

Better to bring back the old threads, if you want, remove the old threads from your watch list.

That is what i thought as well, I was just kinda bored and looked at them and thought hey - ill post on them, I did it on probley 4 threads (one about ice cream, one about snowflakes, one about female gamers and one about guild wars:your opinion) and two of them were closed beacuse they were old and i was told to just let them die. They left the ice cream one and the snowflakes though - so i guess it just depends on what the topic is about.

I want a custom titie too, I've raised my rank by 2 in the course of a week (I think). I also have pretty much a different avatar for every day for the next, 6-8 months, lol)

What do thses title really mean though not just the number of post yu have made?I wonder if is has something to do with knowledge of the game.

Age,
These titles are based on your post count.
But when you contribute to the site, you get a green name, and become a site contributor(duh!). A site contributor can change their titles to their liking. It's like a reward.
